The Coliseum

                                                      THE COLISEUM


                      It was created in 29 B.C.. Its coordinates are 41' N 12º E. In this monument gladiators fought among others to entertain the people of the ancient Rome. It is made up of stone. There were tigers and lions inside cage, these animals fought against people.
              This monument has been destroyed in the big fire of Rome, in the year 64 A.C.. Inside the Coliseum the people made races with horses and carts. Near the Coliseum the people built schools of gladiators where gladiators could train for the fight.
               The Coliseum is about 112.233  m. of extension. It about 48m. tall. It has the oval form. It has a lot of arches in its walls. The soil of the centre is not made of rock, it's made up of sand. If the emperor put down the thumb, the winner need to kill the loser.
                I have selected this monument because I think that it is very interesting thing in  the story of Italy and I like Italy too.

                            THE CID

     Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar is my real name. I was born in Burgos in 1043 and I died in Valence in 1099.

     I was a Spanish nobleman and military man. I was called “El Campeador” or “El Cid”. I was married with Jimena Díaz. And I had two daughters and one son.

     I fought versus the Muslins until they went out of the Iberian Peninsula. I was the leader of the Reconquest.

     There is a book about my history: “Cantar de Mio Cid” (“The Song of my Cid”).

     My horse was called “Babieca” and my sword was “Tizona”. They are very famous because I was one of the most famous people of the Spanish History.

   Mi nombre es Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar. Nací en Burgos en el año 1043 y fallecí en Valenca en el año 1099.

       

    Fui un caballero militar español. Me llamaban el ``El campeador´´ o ``El cid. Me casé con Jimena Diaz  y

 y tuve dos hijas y un hijo.

   

    Luché contra los musulmanes y los españoles. Fui un mercenario. Luche contra los musulmanes hasta que ellos abandonaron la Península Ibérica. Fui el líder de la reconquista Ibérica.

  

    Hay un libro que cuenta mi historia,se llama``Cantar de Mio Cid´´.

    

    Mi caballo se llamaba ``Babieca´´ y mi espada era ``Tizona.´´Fueron famosos porque pertenecieron a una de las personas más importantes de España , EL CID

        Supercleaner has got one ear per side. Inside the ears it has got microphones. It has two cameras    into the eyes to see good and to identify the people that it sees. It has a big back to put a lot of cleaning objects.
  
        It has a small door with small stairs per side. It has six whells. A microphone replaces the brain of the robot. It has a head in form of box and a rectangle mouth. His eyes are triangules with cameras inside. It is made of iron and glass.

        If you want you can ask orders and it does. It can put a bucket on it´s head to clean the floors. It can clean the floor,do your bed and it can play with you. But it can´t eat,drink or fly.
